Non-traditional Research Outputs
My public outreach is through non-traditional research outputs. These include a 3D digital rendering of a UNESCO World Heritage site cave in Vanuatu (a UNESCO-funded project), as well as 3D models that I have made of cuneiform tablets from the British Museum (UK), and of Jack Wherra carved boab nuts from the National Museum of Australia – they have been viewed more than 12,000 times and the boab nuts featured in a temporary exhibition. Although publicly not available, I was also engaged in the process of creating a digital 3D model of the Black Rod for the Australian Senate.
My article for the Conversation, which discusses the ancient origins of interdisciplinary research, has been read
more than 25,000 times.
